In affiliate marketing, to risk or not to risk is a potentially dangerous barrier that can prevent an individual to avail the promising opportunities. At the same time, zero-risk is an unrealistic situation in any market type. In spite of the initial apprehension associated with a start-up business, risk factor is surprisingly low in affiliate marketing compared to the real life sales.

Matthew Glanfield is the newest of the marketers that I recently discovered, another Canadian as well, go figure!! I liked his Affiliate Marketing Formula site so much, that I joined up for his crash course and I’m definitely impressed. I really like what he’s doing. On his site he gives video tutorials of setting up everything that needs to be setup to have a thriving affiliate marketing business. This really clears up a lot of things for people, especially if they are brand new to learning about affiliate marketing.

Many of the things that he’s teaching I did know already, but if I had to start over again I sure wish I would have discovered either Affilorama or the Affiliate Marketing Formula earlier. It would of saved me a lot of time in tracking down the exact step by step methods of setting things up. The problem that I find with a lot of training materials is authors will tell you what needs to be done, but, it is not actually shown right there in front of you. Thanx to streaming video this is starting to become a thing of past, if you find people like Matthew Glanfield.

With many a things in the pipeline, the face of the Internet is changing. The emergence of web2.0 sites has not only refurbished the entire look and feel of sites and incorporated interactivity, but it has also bought about positive changes to the world of Affiliate Marketing.

The new media (blogs, interactive groups, forums) facilitates closer interaction between merchant and affiliates, and also helps curb many a crooked affiliate from making money using unethical ways.

All in all, affiliate marketing is growing, evolving and emerging. Walking towards a more structured arena, it has the potential to caste a spell and dilute the eminence of alternative marketing practices in the long run.
